Location was unbeatable and and particularly good, very close to an alley close to an array of fine restaurants, restaurants and the Almedina hill. In fact, it was located in the heart of Coimbra very close to the railway station.

Great base for exploring Coimbra. Location was fab, within walking distance of a Botanical garden. Surrounding of the apartment was pretty quiet. Staff was welcoming and attentive despite our late arrival.

I was initially given the wrong apartment number, but the staff quickly resolved the issue and even upgraded me to a larger apartment. The apartment itself was clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant stay. The location was also ideal, surrounded by great local restaurants and within walking distance of the train station. I highly recommend Vintage Lofts for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Coimbra.

All of the amenities that the apartment came with (cooking gear and serving/eating utensils). Perfect for a young couple staying in Coimbra for a long period of time as it gave us the opportunity to cook if we wanted and enough entertainment in the apartment for nights when we wanted to stay in. We absolutely loved it and will be back.
There was a lot of noise coming in through the walls, but I'm sure that could not be helped. This wasn't a big deal for us though. It wouldn't deter us from coming back.

Great little well equipped apt. In the old commercial district--just as pictures display--easy walk from the train station, river, university is also close by. We loved this spot up a little side street and found that our newly renovated apt. In an old,, thick walled building stayed comfortable even during a heat wave--no a/c needed. The fan provided worked perfectly. Ricardo supplied us with an extensive notebook with great information--including a restaurant list that had a sweet six table place where the chef takes you on a five course adventure in flavors all paired with great wine choices. Best dining experience we have had in several months of experimentation in Portugal. We always stay in apts. when we travel and this one was one of the best--Ricardo has thought of everything. If you are a light sleeper some of the ambient noise could bother you, but we had no difficulty--even with a fussy sleeper in tow.

The lofts are well located in the city center. It is possible to make a meal in the kitchen. The decoration was very special.
We didn't receive the code to enter the loft on time as we were already travelling through Portugal for more than a week. So when we arrived in Coimbra we had to call an emergency number to get this code. Eventually we were told to go to Hotel Oslo where a person at the reception gave us the code. Asking where we could park our car better than in the very expensive car parking he told us that it was the 21st century and all the parking where expensive. An disappointing answer which we never got before during our trip through Portugal. Eventually we got better information in the car parking on the opposite of Hotel Oslo. The room was very cold and unfortunatelly there was no heating available.

We had an amazing stay at these well, designed apartments. the Vintage Lofts style added a unique touch to the modern comfort of the place. the one, bedroom apartment we rented was spacious, beautifully furnished, and had a lovely patio. Located on a quiet street, it was just a few steps away from the old center and all the landmarks. We were pleased with the well, equipped kitchen, making self, catering a breeze. a boutique experience in a convenient and charming location. Cons: No issues at all! 😄.
